If I am a junior high-school student, can I participate? Which group to sign up for?
A
IveyHSCC accepts applications from students who are at least the third year of junior high school. When registering, please select "G9-G10 Group".

If I am G12 student and the time is tight, how can I participate?
A
G12 students can seize the opportunity to optimize their resumes before graduation. Due to the tight schedule, it is recommended that G12 students seek the consent of the school to form a team in the same school and study together with familiar students to be more efficient. In addition, we recommend that G12 students choose one-on-one (team) coaching to improve the efficiency of case analysis.

What is the process of registration?

There are 3 ways to register IveyHSCC:
1) Applicants visit the official website of Ivey Business School in Hong Kong (Ivey.hk.com) and click on the link of IveyHSCC. Then scan the WeChat QR code at the bottom of the official website to enter the registration page.
2) Applicants go to the official website of IveyHSCC competition (www.iveyhscc.com). Then scan the WeChat QR code at the bottom of the official website to enter the registration page.
3) Applicants search for the official mini-program "eIntern" in WeChat. By clicking “IveyHSCC” in the bottom, you can enter registration page. Click “Sign up”. and then enter your own competition region, competition group and other personal information.

Do I have to choose "Become a e-Intern Member" when registering and paying the fee?
A
Although the competition relies on the support of Wecht account of "eIntern" , "becoming e-Intern member" is not a must. However, "eIntern" membership is the premise for students to apply for coaching. At the same time, "eIntern" is the only career case experience platform in China that spans 30+ industries, functions and topics, which can help participating students to enter faster and better role, familiar with the patterns of case study.

How to submit an proposal? Who has the right to submit a proposal on a team? Can I submit if the deadline has passed?
A
There are two ways to submit proposal. There is a button to submit proposal on the official website of the IveyHSCC or e-Intern platform. Find “My profile” under “My IveyHSCC”.
If you participate the competition as a team, then only "team leader" can submit a formal entry proposal.
If the deadline for submission of proposals is missed, contestants can contact the organizing committee of the competition and apply for submission through back office. However, the Organizing Committee will decide whether or not to accept the delayed submission.

To participate the competition, do I have to form a team?
A
In the preliminary stage, it is not mandatory to form a team. Contestants can participate in the IveyHSCC as an individual. Contestants must form a team, if they entering the semi-finals.

How do I find other contestants to team up with?
A
Please click “Team up” button after enter “my account” in "eIntern". Suggest to discuss with students offline and then invite them as team member in "eIntern". The members in one team should come from the same age group and same region.
Invite others: Select the name of students to be invite and send them invitation code. The one initiating the invitation is recognized as “team leader” by system.
Accept invitation from others: enter invitation code received and submit. Once accept the invitation, the student is recognized as “team member” by system.
Notes: once accept invitation, the student can neither accept invitation from other once, nor initiate an invitation. Once someone accept your team invitation, you need to invite other student to form a team. The minimum number of team member is 3, and maximum is 4.

Can people who don't know each other team up? What if I cannot find team member in my acquaintance?
A
Yes, you can team up with someone unknown, while please sure the team members are from the same region and same age group.
Please click “Alumni” in the button of “eIntern”. Search people who are from the same region but not belong to any team yet. Chat with them and invite them to form a team.

How can I find a coach with case teaching experience and what can a coach do for me?
A
"eIntern" provides its members with the functions of "find a coach" and "take me into the industry". Students can find a coach with case teaching experience in "Find a Coach", click on the head portrait to view the coach's personal space, and send an invitation to the coach to "take me into the industry". Coaches can help contestants to understand the method of case analysis more proficiently, guide group discussions, improve the format of case proposals, clarify role of team members, and improve team cooperation, so as to quickly improve the quality of contestants’ proposal within a limited time frame.

Can a one-on-one coach ensure my winning?
A
Coach does not guarantee anyone an award. However, it can ensure that students get the best learning experience in a limited time. Coach can guide contestants to quickly master the method of case study, infill the skills of case analysis and improve the quality of proposal presentation. And these are the necessary conditions to win.
